Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus launches new supper club to raise funds for the arts

The meet and greet before dinner begins at 7 p.m. at Radial Cafe located at 1530 DeKalb Ave., Atlanta, GA 30307.

The prix fixe dinner includes a three-course meal, a drink voucher and an entry into a raffle drawing.

What’s on the menu? The beef short ribs over potato-parsnip puree and sautéed baby green beans are already sold out. Other choices are:

• Shrimp and local chorizo over smoked Gouda grits
• Cheese tortellini in pesto cream sauce with roasted red peppers and spinach

“Judas Kiss” that explores the loves of gay writer Oscar Wilde  is now playing at Actor’s Express, which is facing dire financial straits. The theater, now in its 23rd season, must raise $150,000 by the end of July to ensure it remains open.

AGMC, now in its 30th season, holds a concert of its Panache group on Saturday, May 14, at 8 p.m. at Cannon Chapel at Emory University.
