The Atlanta Beat, Atlanta’s professional women’s soccer team, kicks off the 2011 season today against the Boston Breakers at 7:00 p.m. The Beat play at the Kennesaw State University soccer stadium.
2011 marks the second full season for the Beat in the Women’s Professional Soccer league (the team was a part of the failed Women’s United Soccer Association from 2001 to 2003).
