He then started choking me with his elbow and put me into a head lock, and he dragged me out of the party by my neck.” According to the article, the altercation also included anti-gay slurs. Smith claimed that he was provoked after the unnamed student implied that he was gay because of the color of Smith’s shirt. He did admit, however, to physically removing the student from the party.
