Film documents how LGBT rights will ‘March On’ The GA Voice Editors June 10, 2011 Features The documentary is an ideal fit for Stonewall Week, according to Jim Farmer, executive director of Out on Film, which hosts the city’s LGBT film festival, set for Sept. 29-Oct. 6 this year. “Stonewall Week is remembered as a time when our community stood up for their own rights and asserted themselves. A lot has changed since Stonewall but a lot hasn’t changed, and the families in this film proudly decide to attend the March on Washington of 2009 as a way to continue to stand up for equality,” Farmer said. The Stonewall Week screening is sponsored by Out on Film and the Atlanta Pride Committee. Tickets are $15 and include cocktails and brunch from Radial Café.
