The two support groups, which take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., are for ages 16-24.
They are part of the full schedule of weekly events from YouthPride. The schedule also includes:
Monday: Words of Empowerment (LGBTQ people of color, ages 16-24, 6:30-8 p.m.); Trans and Friends (ages 13-24, 6:30-8 p.m.)
Tuesday: Womyn’s Lounge, Boy Talk, and Moving On 2.0 Therapy Group
Wednesday: Teen Forum (ages 13-18, 6:30-8 p.m.); Young Adult Forum (ages 18-24, 6:30-8 p.m.)
Thursday: T Time (transgender-only discussion group, 5:30-6:30 p.m.); Movie night, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
YouthPride also offers free HIV testing between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
For the summer, YouthPride is open 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The center is closed on Sunday.
