In addition to gay teen Kurt, out actor Jane Lynch and music to die for — dubbed “the holy trifecta of gayness” by Mediaweek’s Alan Frutkin — this season “Glee” will offer up more about Kurt’s relationship with his father and the struggles gay teens face to fit in.

Tonight’s event is from 7-9 p.m. (show airs at 8 p.m.) at Earl Smith Strand Theatre, 117 N Park Square, Marietta, GA 30060, www.earlsmithstrand.org. For $25, VIP tickets with front seating are available, www.atlantalyrictheatre.org.

The musical comedy-drama airs on Fox and has quickly become a cult phenomenon. It focuses on a high school show choir called “New Directions.” The series features numerous song covers performed onscreen by the characters including numbers from Billy Joel to Coldplay. The season two premier of Glee airs on September 21 at 8 PM and will feature three new dazzling characters.

The Strand will open its doors at 7 PM for pre-show mingling, a raffle benefitting the Atlanta Lyric Theatre, concessions, and a cash bar. Admission is free but a limited number of $25 VIP tickets are available below and they include front-row seating and a beer or wine ticket for guests 21 years of age and up.
