Popular local bands, DJs, drag round out full Pride entertainment lineup

And one of the more stacked Pride entertainment lineups in recent memory is complete.

The Atlanta Pride Committee has announced the full entertainment lineup for the October 11 and 12 event in Piedmont Park, capping off a month-long artist rollout, starting with the news about “All About That Bass” singer Meghan Trainor’s appearance, followed by the announcements of dance music icon Amber, “Bubbly” singer Colbie Caillat and “Orange is the New Black” actress/comedian Lea DeLaria.

“The full talent roster includes many Atlanta favorites and tons of local talent on both stages. As always, our Entertainment Committee works hard to find a diverse array of musical styles and genres to ensure that there is something for everyone going on during the Bud Light Stage and Coca-Cola Stage line-ups,” said Atlanta Pride Committee Executive Director Buck Cooke in a prepared statement.

“We received many requests from all over our LGBTQ community last year and this year for more dance music, so we listened,” he added. “We are bringing DJ Canvas, DJ Ree de la Vega, and DJ Citizen Jane to the festival to give you what you wanted. In addition to DJs spinning at the festival, we’re also happy to have a show from Fabrefaction Theatre and Legendary Children Atlanta included in the schedule.”
