Queer Moxie presents: Laughs, queens, kings, burlesque and artistry [PHOTOS]

The Queer Moxie Cabaret on May 28 at Jungle featured a host of performers who are included in the upcoming film, “Queer Moxie,” a look at how queer performance art is igniting social change. Money raised at the cabaret goes to finishing the film this summer, a five-year project of Heather Provoncha. A Kickstarter campaign is planned to kick off in June.

Performing at the Queer Moxie Cabaret were Iysis Dupree, comedian Julie Osborne, burlesque artists Ursula Undress, drag king Drue Lingue, queer artist Brent Star, ‘Mouth of the South’ Nicole Paige Brooks, Village Queen Ellisorous Rex, Devin Liquor, Heather Daniels and comedian and host Ian Aber.
