MondoHomo's 'Queer-Story Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo' tonight at Ria's Bluebird

Spaghetti served with a side of queer history

Hosted by Atlanta drag icon Diamond Lil, the annual ‘Queer-Story Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo‘ brings together activists wanting to learn more about the city’s queer history from such gay and lesbian mentors as Beryl Boykin, Dave Hayward, The Duchess, Mary Ann Adams and others. The dinner and bingo is a fundraiser for MondoHomo, which takes place each year over Memorial Day Weekend.

The night includes a spaghetti dinner from the renowned gay-owned Ria’s Bluebird restaurant. Ria Pell, owner of Ria’s Bluebird, also owns Sauced.

There will be dining and drinking and story telling as well as some B-I-N-G-O.

Cost is $20 and includes a three-course meal with a queer mentor at each table. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. with bingo to follow at about 9 p.m.
