Sir Elton John, Lady Gaga top fall music releases
Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II and beloved by queens everywhere, Sir Elton John leads this fall’s way-gay music lineup, releasing a new album Sept. 24 and performing in Atlanta Nov. 16.
“The Diving Board,” featuring the single “Home Again,” is Sir Elton’s 30th studio album. It comes just three weeks before the season’s other most-awaited release for LGBT fans: Lady Gaga’s “ARTPOP,” due out Oct. 11.
Sir Elton and Lady Gaga aren’t the only pop divas of fall. Look out for new albums from Cher (“Closer to the Truth,” Sept. 24) and Katy Perry (“Prism,” Oct. 27). If you dare to listen after her VMA performance, Miley Cyrus releases “The Bangerz” Oct. 8.
