YouthPride still closed; no new location announced The GA Voice Editors June 7, 2012 Atlanta As of 2 p.m. on Thursday, there is no word of where the LGBT youth organization will be located or when it will reopen. The belongings moved out of its space in Inman Park were relocated to a storage facility. McPhaul and members of YouthPride’s board — Jordan Myers, Theresa Willis and Tracee McDaniel — have not responded to requests for information. McDaniel has stated she must direct all media requests to the media spokesperson, Theresa Willis. A recent phone call to Theresa Willis resulted in an angry exchange and a refusal to comment on YouthPride. Several people are starting to post to YouthPride’s Facebook pages asking where the new location of the organization will be. No one has responded. YouthPride was forced to move after its landlord, Inman Park United Methodist Church, evicted them for not paying more than $40,000 in rent.
