An Alabama farmer who lost his lesbian daughter to suicide protested in opposition to senate candidate Roy Moore outside a campaign rally in Midland City, Alabama, last night. “Judge Roy Moore called my daughter Patti Sue Mathis a pervert because she was gay,” Nathan Mathis’ sign read. “A 32-year-old Roy Moore dated teenage girls ages 14 to 17. So that makes him a pervert of the worst kind. Please don’t vote for Roy Moore!” Alabamans are headed to the polls today to cast ballots for Moore or his Democratic rival Doug Jones in the hotly contested special election to fill Jeff Sessions’ seat that was vacated when he was appointed Attorney General.

2. A new study suggests that having an older brother may be tied to a man’s likelihood of being gay.

3. The character Loki, Thor’s adopted brother, will be gender-fluid and pansexual in the new Marvel anti-hero novel series, author Mackenzi Lee tweeted.
