1. All-star outfielder Torii Hunter called a reporter a “prick” in a press conference Wednesday after being asked a question about gay marriage. Hunter has stated in the past that he would not be comfortable having a gay teammate and he recently cut a campaign commercial for an Arkansas gubernatorial candidate where he praised her for her stance against marriage equality.

2. The Daily Beast on how Republican Sen. Rob Portman’s announcement that he would not be running for president in 2016 will affect the same-sex marriage issue within the GOP during the election. Portman announced his support for same-sex marriage last year after his son came out to him.
