1. The White House says they are open to lifting the ban on transgender Americans to serve in the military.

2. Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted by the NFL, will be on the upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars.” Sam says he is still hoping to land a spot on an NFL roster.

3. A New Jersey teacher who made anti-gay comments on Facebook won a pivotal victory in her two-year legal battle to get her job back. “Why parade your unnatural immoral behaviors before the rest of us?,” Knox wrote on Facebook in 2011. “I DO NOT HAVE TO TOLERATE ANYTHING OTHERS WISH TO DO. I DO HAVE TO LOVE AND SPEAK AND DO WHAT’S RIGHT!”
