1. Trans activist and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is considering a run for elected office … and there’s a pretty incensed anti-LGBT opinion piece about it floating around via Washington Times. Fox News reprinted it here.

2. The University of Minnesota will have a new minor in sexual health available for students this fall. Classes will cover LGBT issues and HIV/AIDS, among other sex and sexuality topics.

3. Out actress Ellen Page’s show “Gaycation” got an Emmy nod on Thursday.

4. A pro-LGBT Muslim organization was kicked out of the Islamic Society of North America’s conference in Chicago earlier this month. Human Rights Campaign, which partners with the group, issued a statement saying its leadership was “extremely disappointed” with the incident.
