1. Chibụìhè Obi, a 24-year-old writer and LGBT activist from Nigeria, is free after being kidnapped. Obi disappeared after he wrote an essay condemning anti-gay violence in the country.

2. Are you a LGBT Christian? There’s an app for that.

3. Mother-and-daughter duo Lynn and Molly Girton talk with NPR about gender identity. Lynn is a white lesbian; her daughter identifies as a masculine-presenting Indian person of color.

4. Madrid, Spain, is lighting up crosswalks for Pride Month with gender-inclusive crossing signs. Where a symbol of a man typically stands, pedestrians will now start to see women and LGBT couples represented.

5. VIDEO OF THE DAY: A new film documenting the journey of 50-year-old Kim’s transition to a man debuted yesterday, just in time for Pride.
