On Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2010, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed responded to the settlement of a federal lawsuit between the plaintiffs from the Atlanta Eagle raid and the city. Former Atlanta Eagle bartender Chris Lopez seeks damages from the city over the Atlanta Eagle raid

Despite the settlement in the federal lawsuit between plaintiffs from the Atlanta Eagle and the city, a new complaint has been filed against the Atlanta Police Department by former bartender Chris Lopez, who was not involved in the original lawsuit. On Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, the Atlanta City Council unanimously voted to approve a settlement agreement between the plaintiffs from the Atlanta Eagle raid and the city.
