The Atlanta Freedom Bands presents its summer concert, “American: Reclaiming Our Shared Musical Heritage” tonight at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Grant Park.
An honor guard of LGBT veterans from the American Veterans for Equal Rights will be on hand for the concert as well. This concert is also the performance to introduce new music director, Dr. Patrick Carney.
The concert will feature music from composers such as Harold Arlen, Richard Bowles, Arcangelo Corelli, Paul Creston and F.E. Bigelow.
Tickets are $10 or $5 for students and seniors.
