British pop-rocker Rita Ora joins Atlanta Pride stage

“We are so excited to add this amazing artist to our increasingly robust 2012 stage performances!  It is only through relationships like our partnership with Wild 105.7 & 96.7 that we are able to include an artist like Ora and still keep the festival free to everyone,” said Glen Paul Freedman, Atlanta Pride board chair, in a press release.

“We are confident that everyone will enjoy the line up we are putting together this year and hope to see Piedmont Park full of festival supporters having a great time,” Freedman said.

Amy Ray, half of the Atlanta folk-rock duo Indigo Girls, will play a solo set to close out the stage on Sunday evening before the traditional drag Starlight Cabaret.

Andy Bell of Erasure will headline the Pride stage on Saturday.

The Atlanta Pride Committee plans to announce the full entertainment schedule in September.
