The mood was friendly and laid-back as the LGBT community came out in force Sunday to celebrate Black Gay Pride in Piedmont Park. Groups of friends, couples and families roamed the park throughout the day, checking out the vendors, feasting on food, cooling off with a beverage, relaxing on the lawn, people watching and taking in the artists performing as part of the Pure Heat Community Festival.
