Atlanta’s Congregation Bet Haverim, founded by gays and lesbians, celebrates 25 years with a special Erev Shabbat service tonight.
The congregation will honor its early members as well as share stories about the synagogue’s origins. The synagogue is led by Rabbi Josh Lesser.
Music by the CBH Chorus and Instrumentalists will add to the celebration.
The service is from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Central Congregational UCC, 2676 Clairmont Road, Atlanta, GA 30329.
