Local Bookstore Helps Keep People Reading During Pandemic

Although Charis Books & More closed its doors due to the Coronavirus and cancelled multiple events, the bookstore has still been placing orders for folks looking to do some reading during this time of social distancing.

Since closing, the bookstore implemented a $1 shipping sale for all content at their Decatur location, but in an email to its customers, management states there could be a possibility of ceasing all commerce at the bookstore.

“What this means practically is that we are ending our $1 shipping sale because we will soon begin fulfilling orders directly from our distributor,” said management in the email. “This is a way to continue getting books in your hands for as long as possible and as inexpensively as possible.”

The bookstore will still have their website, charisbooksandmore.com for people looking to purchase products including new book reads for the public.
