With lesbian talk show host Ellen DeGeneres stepping down after one season as a judge on “American Idol,” grumpy judge Simon Cowell also gone and reports that Kara DioGuardi had been fired from her job as a judge, the gossip mill is churning hard on who will replace them. Jennifer Lopez is confirmed as one of the judges alongside original judge Randy Jackson for the popular show’s 10th season set to begin in January.
But regardless of what’s happening now with the judges, contestants from the show that makes us cringe in embarrassment for some and weep for joy for others is set to take the stage in Gwinnett County.
Last season’s top 10 finalists, including winner Lee DeWyze, will be performing for the faithful fans of the show. Also on the bill are Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Crystal Bowersox, Didi Benami, Katie Stevens, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus and Tim Urban.
