Andro Fashion Show Returns to Atlanta September 1

The Andro Fashion Show, an LGBTQ fashion, art, and music experience founded and hosted by Kia Barnes, is making its return to Atlanta on September 1.

The show will highlight androgynous and masculine-presenting queer people of color in an array of styles, including vintage, modern, and futuristic fashion. Attendees can expect a diverse and dynamic collection, live music, dance performances, world-class vendors, and more.

“I wanted to bring the community together to show the world that androgynous and masculine-presenting queer people of color are unique, beautiful, and worthy of being celebrated,” Barnes said. “The pandemic may have paused productions since 2019, but now, the Andro Fashion Show is back, bigger, and better than ever.”

Founded in Atlanta in 2016, the Andro Fashion Show has toured in cities like Miami, New Orleans, and Cape Cod before coming to a halt due to COVID-19.

The event will be taking place at Underground Atlanta in the Digital ATL Art Exhibit on Thursday September 1 at 8pm. You can purchase tickets here and learn more at androfashionshow.com.
