Join author Dianne Glave, editor of To Love the Wind and Rain: African Americans and Environmental History and Rooted in the Earth: Reclaiming the African American Environmental Heritage, for ‘Whose Earth Day?: A 40th Anniversary Celebration for All of Us,’ a discussion on environmental and social justice at Charis Circle tonight. Glave will lead a discussion on local environmental justice movements that will feature activists from GA WAND (Georgia Women’s Action for New Directions) on the day following the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.
