The third Thursday of the month is set aside for Cliterati at Charis Books & More that features dykes — and others as well — taking the opportunity to perform spoken word or read poetry in an open mic forum.
Hosted by the spoken word team of Karen G and Theresa Davis, members of the Art Amok Slam Team, this monthly event “cultivates the voices of authors, novices and an assortment of poets, songstresses and storytellers.”
