My Sisters' Room hosts community forum tonight

Everyone is invited

Lesbian bar My Sisters’ Room is hosting an open forum starting at 7 p.m. for members of the public participating to come up with priorities for the community.

According to a Facebook invitation, the forum is to bring people together in one space.

“Let’s all come together in one room, same place, same time — Gay, Straight, black, white, trans — ALL OF US to discuss things that are unsettling in our community — and to talk about things that we want to change…things that are important to us and why.

By the end of the night, the hope is that we can maybe vote on a few different things — 1, 2 or 3 – to zoom in on as a community to see where change can start and how we implement that change!” states the Facebook event page.

Organizers of the event include Patryce Yeiser, owner of MSR with her wife, Susan Musselwhite, and MSR marketing director Jami Siden.
