Atlanta's Queer Justice League hosts monthly meeting

Help plan a protest

Queer Justice LeagueLocal advocacy group Queer Justice League hosts monthly meeting tonight at the Phillip Rush Center. The group will be discussing their planned actions against Chick-fil-A at an upcoming leadership conference at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Tonight’s meeting will last from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A has made negative headlines in recent months for its support of anti-gay organizations through political donations.

“We feel if Chick-fil-A really wants to ‘talk the talk’ for leadership and change they should ‘walk the walk’ and adopt a corporate policy that protects all their employees from discrimination regardless of the legal requirements of a specific jurisdiction,” Art Izzard, a QJL spokesman, said in a press release.
