The final pre-dinner reception for Atlanta’s Human Rights Campaign 24th Annual Gala Dinner and Auction is set for today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the W Atlanta Midtown’s Whiskey Park.
People must be 21 and older to attend tonight’s reception.
There will be light appetizers and a cash bar at tonight’s reception including drink specials. Parking across the street at the 14th Street Playhouse is $5.
The dinner and gala is set for May 14 and features Mo’Nique and Lee Daniels. Mo’Nique won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in the movie “Precious.” Lee Daniels, who is openly gay, was producer and director of “Precious” and was nominated for Best Director Academy Award for this film. “Precious” was also nominated for Best Picture.
