PALS Announces Fourth Annual Fur Ball

Pets Are Loving Support, Inc. (PALS) has announced its fourth annual Fur Ball Masquerade “To Oz” fundraiser, to be held Saturday, November 12 at The Buckhead Club (3344 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326).

“The Wizard of Oz’ taught us to embrace our authentic selves, and that’s a great lesson to learn, including the loving bond between Dorothy and Toto,” PALS Board Chair Steve Parker said in a statement. “That’s what PALS is all about – the human-animal bond – so we took ‘To Oz’ as this year’s Fur Ball theme.”

PALS is an Atlanta-based non-profit providing ongoing care and support to the pets of Atlantans living with disabilities due to HIV/AIDS and terminal illnesses, and the elderly. It enables pets and their human companions to remain together to share the healing power of love. Founded in the early days of the AIDS pandemic, PALS later branched out to serve others and is now in its 32nd year.

The annual Fur Ball is a glittering evening event for which guests dress festively and don decorative “Masquerade” masks, while other guests lean more into the theme via costumes.

General admission kicks off at 8 p.m. and includes a premium open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, specialty acts, dancing, silent auction, Dom Perignon wine pull, and complimentary mask and gift bag, for $100.00/person. VIP admission enables access beginning at 7 p.m., with early access bar and appetizers, as well as all general admission benefits for $125 per person. Pre-sale tickets are available through July 31 for a savings of $25 per ticket.

“The event will be a fabulous trip down the Yellow Brick Road, over the rainbow and into the glittering Emerald Tower that is the 26th floor of the Sovereign Building – The Buckhead Club,” said PALS volunteer Penny Lane Emerson.

Tickets can be purchased here. Valet parking is complimentary for all guests.
