Philip Rafshoon speaks to AEN at tonight’s meeting

Outwrite owner to address gay business networking group

Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse owner Philip Rafshoon addresses the Atlanta Executive Network tonight at the Atlanta Executive Network meeting at Mixx.

Rafshoon founded the bookstore in a Midtown shopping center in 1993 as Atlanta’s only gay and lesbian bookstore. In 1996, the store moved to the corner of Piedmont Avenue and 10th Street, redesigning an old disco into a thriving bookstore that continues to attract local authors for readings as well as national celebrities, including Greg Louganis, Olympic gold medal diver; gay pop singer Lance Bass, Chelsea Handler and most recently gay author Christopher Rice.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for networking. Mixx is located at 1492 Piedmont Ave. Suite B. There will be $4 drink specials all night. The event is free to AEN members and $20 for guests.
