Rainbow House Coalition Opening House for At-Risk LGBTQ Youth

Rainbow House Coalition (RHC) will soon open its first house for at-risk LGBTQ youth of Atlanta.

RHC works to eliminate homelessness in the LGBTQ community by providing new and innovative affordable housing.

“Rainbow House Coalition believes that affordable housing is a right and not a privilege,” said Rick Westbrook, the Executive Director of RHC. “Our city faces an extreme lack of affordable and shelter systems to accommodate the needs of people on the street, especially LGBT youth”

RHC’s first house will officially open on March 1, 2019. The home will have five bedrooms with private baths, common areas, laundry, and kitchen.

The Georgia Voice will post updates as they come. For more information, visit http://rainbowhouseatl.org/
