After hosting a Drag Queen Brunch for Atlanta Pride, Twisted Soul Cookhouse and Pours has launched a monthly installment of the event to be held on the second Saturday of every month, beginning this Saturday (November 9).
“So many people heard about the Drag Queen Brunch at Atlanta Pride, so it was really a no-brainer to make it an ongoing event,” said chef-owner of Twisted Soul Deborah VanTrece in a press release. “In addition to really good food and libations, it’s an opportunity to let your hair down and have some fun.”
The brunch will be hosted by Amber Devine, a local drag legend and a former member of The Armorettes, Atlanta’s oldest drag troupe. The restaurant’s full brunch menu will be available during the event, which includes delicious, specially-made dishes, small plates, sandwiches, and salads. Cocktails, wine, beer, and champagne will also be available for purchase.
The Drag Queen Brunch runs from 12-2pm on Saturdays. Afterwards, DJ Shailon will be spinning music to keep the party going. To make a reservation, which are highly encouraged, call 404-350-5500. For more information, visit twistedsoulcookhouseandpours.com.
