Netflix’s new prequel series to the classic 1982 film The Dark Crystal features a main character with two dads and a lesbian relationship, according to Out Magazine.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, described as Game of Thrones with puppets,” features a star-studded cast of voice actors, including Taron Egerton, Helena Bonham Carter, and Eddie Izzard. Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel is also in the series, playing one of the Gelflings, Deet.

Deet casually refers to her two dads in one of the ten episodes of the series, and The Dark Crystal official Twitter account confirmed the inclusion after a Twitter user pointed out the LGBTQ family.

Deet’s dads aren’t the only LGBTQ inclusion the show has to offer. While this inclusion was much subtler, Onica, voiced by Thrones star Natalie Dormer, and Tavra, voiced by Caitriona Balfe, are reportedly in a lesbian relationship, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Fans reacted positively to both the two dads and lesbian relationship on Twitter, saying the show had “Lesbian Energy.”

Age of Resistance comes almost 40 years after Jim Henson and Frank Oz’s original film. The prequel series is available to stream now on Netflix.

Each Holywoon made movie, “NEED” to have at least one LGBT character included. Year after year this trend and policy in the movie industry is more and more powerful, to not upset the LGBT community by making them feel ignored. If the LGBT community don’t find a LGBT character with whom to identify themselfs, many of them start to protest and they declare that movie as being homophobic or not suporting the LGBT community. Seriously???
The people who identify themselfs with the the next groups or comunities: Chinese, Indian, black people, Russian, budhists, muslims, atheists, democrats, republicans, comunists, rock-ers, hip hop-ers, redheads, blondes, short people, handicapped person, authist people, people with Down syndrome, etc. are in some cases in bigger number on the planet than the LGBT comunity and/or many of them are victims of different discriminations in their lifes (in some cases worst than in the LGBT case) BUT we never see these people or communities protesting, complaining or acusing the movie industry for discrimination if they don’t see a character from the above groups included in some movie. Just imagine if all these communities and groups will start to protest in the same way like the LGBT comunity… each producer will be forced to include in his movie one character from all these gropus ONLY to prevent all those communities to protest and to make bad advertising about his movie.
Do you realise where all this crazines will push the movie industry? Do we really need to se in each movie characters from each community and group of people to be a good movie?
Definitely not! so please for the Mother of God, stop this stupid policy.
We, the majority of the people from this planet, we are aware and we respect each person, from the LGBT community or hundreds of other communities and groups, without being forced to see each of them in each movie.
Movies will start to look the same… maybe we will have the same names too in each movie, why not? To not forget them: John the gay, Chris the christian, Ahmed the muslim, Lee the Chinese, etc… :))
    Stop it!!!
