The woman can sing and act and most recently made headlines when she shot a video in one take, guerilla style, in Texas for her song “Window Seat” in Dealey Plaza in Texas, a popular tourist spot since the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963. In the video, Badu walks along the sidewalk and strips her clothes off until completely nude. She was later charged with a Class C misdemeanor, but the songstress said she had no regrets.
She is on the “Out My Mind, Just in Time” tour for her latest album, “New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh).”
And, oh yeah, she has a son, Seven, with Atlanta’s own Andre 3000, one-half of Atlanta’s own OutKast.
