Hey, sports fans. Fall seasons in the Atlanta gay sports world are underway with softball, flag football, bowling, rugby teams and more. Here’s a handy score card for those who want to know what gay sports leagues have to offer this fall.

Atlanta Bucks Rugby (www.atlantabucksrugby.org)

The Bucks season began on Sept. 10; with the next match set for Saturday, Sept. 17, in an away match against Georgia Tech at the school’s pitch. The team plays three home matches on Oct. 8 against St. Louis, Nov. 12 against Georgia State University and on Nov. 19 against Macon Love.

Home games are played at Coan Middle School, 1550 Hosea Williams Drive N, Atlanta, GA 30317.

Gay softball, flag football, rugby and bowling warming up for new seasons

Decatur Women’s Softball League (www.decaturwomensportsleague.info)

The popular women’s league, which donates money each year to the Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative, threw out its first pitch of the fall season on Sept. 9 with games continuing Friday evenings through Oct. 28. All games are held at Kelly C. Cofer Park in Tucker.

Hotlanta Softball League (www.hotlantasoftball.org)

With team Gamma winning the World Series C Division Championship at this summer’s women’s Amateur Sports Alliance of North America tournament and the Atlanta Venom winning the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Association’s Gay Softball World Series A Division Championship, the Hotlanta Softball League is ready to continue a hot streak on the diamonds.

HSL volunteers will sign up players on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Ansley Mall near Starbucks with games planned on Sundays in Piedmont Park — Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30.

Hotlanta Volleyball Association (www.hotlantavolleyball.org)

Dig, set and spike — fall season for the Intermediate League begins Sept. 20. Advanced league play began on Sept. 14. Both leagues play at Agnes Scott College — the Intermediate League on Tuesdays and the Advanced League on Wednesdays. On Friday, the league hosts open play.

National Flag Football League of Atlanta (www.nffla.com)

The regular season kicks off this weekend at Grant Park on Sunday, Sept. 18, with games beginning at 11 a.m. The full fall schedule includes games on Sept. 25 and Oct. 2 with an off week on Oct. 9 and playoffs held Oct. 16 and Oct. 23.

Southern Softpaw League (www.southernsoftpaw.com)

This gay-inclusive league supports animal charities. Fall season games began Sept. 20 and are played on Saturdays at Southside Softball Complex on Jonesboro Road in Atlanta.

Bowling leagues
