Health and wellness in gay, bisexual men addressed at MSM Symposium [PHOTOS]

Over 100 people were present Thursday evening at The Loudermilk Center for the opening reception of the fourth annual MSM (men who have sex with men) Symposium presented by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Hollywood filmmakers and married couple Quincy & Deondray Gossfield screened an episode from their GLAAD award-winning television series The DL Chronicles. The Gossfields opened up during an informative talk back session about their creative process and the real issues tackled through their art that continues to have an effect on the emotional and physical well-being of gay and bisexual men.

"The MSM Symposium was created to provide a unique opportunity for men who have sex with men and men who identify as gay/bisexual to come together in a safe space to learn, speak out and discuss topics directly related to their health and wellness," said The Georgia Department of Public Health in a statement.

The Georgia Voice will provide in-depth coverage on the MSM Symposium in our October 2 issue.
