Herman Cain: ‘Homosexuality is a choice’

Morgan has made a habit of asking influential conservative guests their positions on homosexuality. Earlier this year, the host pressed former Delaware senate candidate Christine O’Donnell on the issue, which eventually saw her walk out of the interview. O’Donnell was promoting her book “Troublemaker.”

Cain has made controversial remarks during his time on the campaign trail. In March, Cain said during an interview with Think Progress he would not appoint a Muslim to any position in his administration.

“There is this creeping attempt, there is this attempt to gradually ease Sharia law and the Muslim faith into our government,” Cain said at the time.

Cain has, however, stated that openly-gay staffers would be welcome in his administration.
