AID Atlanta hosts “The Writings on the Wall: A Look at Public Sex” today at 7 p.m. at the AID Atlanta Offices, 1605 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.

This discussion is part of AID Atlanta’s Gay Men’s Outreach group and is aimed at discussing issues of relevance for Atlanta’s gay and bisexual men. This session will focus on the historical precedence for public sex in the gay community, and the decline due to increased visibility and acceptance.

The role that the internet has played in reviving public sex, and the recent incidences of police crackdowns, will also be discussed. There will be a focus on discussing why “risky” behaviors have such appeal, and what the true risks are of engaging in such behavior.

This event is free and open to the public but will focus on gay and bisexual men.
