Local LGBT-inclusive nonprofits compete for technology makeover grants

The first round of voting opened today and will conclude Jan. 31. The top three vote-getters in each category will advance to the next round, while a committee will select two nonprofits from each category to advance based on a 200-word essay on “Why your nonprofit needs an Office Technology Makeover”.

Supporters may vote once per day, per computer for any nonprofit of their choice.

The final round of voting begins Feb. 11 and will conclude Mar. 10 where the top five from both categories will compete for supporter votes.

“This is our way of thanking nonprofit organizations in metro Atlanta for the work they do in providing charitable services in our communities.” said Charlie Gibson, Vice President of Milner, Inc. in a media release. “This contest enables us to give back to the communities in which we do business – an endeavor for which we are very proud.”
