Atlanta Pride announces 2017 festival line-up

Pop star Rita Ora, country singer Ty Herndon, hip-hop group Arrested Development, hit recording artist MAX and legendary The Pointer Sisters are just a handful of the entertainers taking the stage at Pride next month, the Atlanta Pride Committee announced today.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer a third stage to festival goers this year, and we are especially proud to be able to expand our line-up and provide great entertainment across all three of our stages. We have so much talent in our community and in our allies — to have the opportunity to feature these performers and showcase their support is especially exciting for the APC,” Atlanta Pride Executive Director Jamie Fergerson said in a news release.

Fergerson said thanks to the support of the city’s LGBT community and festival sponsors, all of the musical festivities will be free. The three stages at Piedmont Park are sponsored by Nissan, Bud Light and Coca-Cola. In addition to musical superstars, DJs, dance parties, a comedy block and more will be on the program.
