And from what the organizers can tell from early numbers, the crowds were bigger than in the past and revenue brought into the city likely exceeded $30 million from the tens of thousands of people visiting the city and Piedmont Park for the weekend festival.
Estimates in the past have put some 200,000-250,000 people visiting the park over the weekend. Freedman said in the interview on ATL & Co. he believes revenue brought to the city exceeded $30 million this year as well.
