Atlanta’s gay chamber teams up with Stonewall Bar Assn. for night of networking

Radial Cafe owner Frank Bragg announced at the meeting that Radial has plans to expand as well to be open for dinner which will include a bar. A representative from Actor’s Express said much help is needed to raise $50,000 in one month to try to save the very gay-friendly theater.

Also speaking was Rebecca Isaacs, executive director of the Equality Federation, a national organization of state-based lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender advocacy organizations.

Linda Ellis, executive director of ALHI, a close friend of Phillip Rush, noted that Feb. 25 was the birthday of the longtime activist who is the namesake of the center. Rush died in April 2009.
