Bishop Long’s attorney, Craig Gillen, instead took to the airwaves to defend his client and claimed that it was his decision to keep Long from being interviewed.
Gillen also said that Long “wanted to be here,” in reference to the radio interview.
Long is scheduled to speak to the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church this Sunday.
