As you may recall, Champion decided to take a gig as a managing editor and anchor  with The Weather Channel in December, ending his illustrious career on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” On Thursday, Champion also appeared on the “Today” show to visit with former rival Al Roker and the rest of the team to plug his new Weather Channel morning show set to air in March after Al Roker’s show; the show has yet to be named. NBC owns The Weather Channel.

Champion married Rubem Robierb in New York in 2012 after meeting at a New Year’s Eve party four years ago. In Georgia, of course, his marriage is not legally recognized.

Champion is not only well-loved for his charming on-air personality but his rock hard body that he is never too ashamed to show off.
