Creative Loafing is reporting that Poster Hut, in business for 44 years and catering to a large gay clientele, is closing Thursday.
CL reporter Gwynned Stuart called Poster Hut on Cheshire Bridge Road to see if it was indeed closing on Thursday. The employee who answered the phone told her he "thinks so." The GA Voice also called and was told the owner would be in the store later this afternoon. The employee who answered the phone said the store is closing for sure and there is a going out of business sale going on now. But, he added, he did not know anything about the store closing tomorrow.
"I know we're going out of business, but I don't know when," the employee said.
