The 5th Annual Marietta Pride kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 13 and this year there’s a twist—the celebration goes on for two whole months.
The North Georgia Rainbow Coalition wanted to make Marietta Pride as wide-reaching as possible and raise the most money possible for the Health Initiative, Georgia’s LGBT health organization. They’ve christened the celebration the “Season of Pride.”
The NGRC’s goal is that this longer Pride format will be successful enough that they will be able to move next year’s event back to a one-day event on June 20 and include a 5K Equality Run, family friendly celebrations in Glover Park and several after parties. And then they would hold Marietta Pride every June thereafter. Last year’s event was held over a July weekend.
All events will take place at The New Le Buzz.

Sat. – Sept. 13 – Drag Tag – Performers from all over entertain in multiple shows starting at 9:30pm.
Sat. – Sept. 20 – Live Music from several acts including Sean Hagler starting at 10pm
Sat. – Sept. 27 – Doggy Date Night & The 1st. Pride Pet Pageant! Yes, you are reading this right! Play on the new patio, with your dog and then compete for prizes!
Sat. – Oct. 04 – Ladies Lingerie Show – check out the new Fall Fashions at 10pm
Sat. – Oct. 11 – Atlanta Pride Week
Sat. – Oct. 18 – Family Pot Luck Dinner 6- 11pm, bring a covered dish or make a donation, and join us for some great food and memories.
Sat – Oct. 25 – Decades Party – Dress for your favorite decade and compete to win Best Dressed – 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and more!
Fri – Oct. 31st. – Halloween for Health – Costume Contests and everything you want for the Holiday!
All Saturday Events are followed by the Divas Cabaret, then the Dance Party with DJ Birdman USA.
