Savannah's "March for Equality" to take place on Sunday has been postponed until Saturday, Sept. 24.

Cody Patterson, a member of Act Out Savannah which is organizing the march, posted to the Facebook page for the march that "due to conflicts in events and logistics" the march has been postponed.

Savannah’s ‘March for Equality’ postponed

The march would have taken place the day after the 12th annual Savannah Pride fest celebrating gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and which takes place all day Saturday in the historic city’s Forsyth Park.

This year there is a $5 admission to get into the Pride fest that begins at 11:30 a.m. and goes until 10 p.m. and includes speakers, live entertainment and vendors.
