Brothers attacked on train ride back from Philly Pride

The Advocate has reported that two brothers were attacked and gay-bashed on their way back from the Philadelphia Pride on Sunday.

The two men–who wish to remain anonymous, at present–say that a group of approximately ten teens sought them out, and cornered them on the train.

After demanding the pair’s phones, the ten youths attacked the brothers in a barrage of fists. The attackers eventually used tasers on the pair.

The attack continued until the train came to the station.

According to reports, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority Police are currently investigating the confrontation.

The authorities discussed the event with the two brothers on Tuesday evening. It is unknown at present whether or not the attack will be prosecuted as a hate crime.
