Photo Gallery: Packed house for MLK Day at annual Rustin/Lorde Breakfast

It was standing room only at the Loudermilk Conference Center in downtown Atlanta on Monday as the community marked Martin Luther King Jr. Day with the 16th Annual Bayard Rustin/Audre Lorde Breakfast. The theme this year was Relevance, and the event featured select works from Living With, an art exhibit about the impact of HIV/AIDS.

ZAMI NOBLA founding director Mary Anne Adams and the late transgender activist Cheryl Courtney-Evans were honored with the Angelic Troublemakers Spotlight and the crowd heard from speakers from Evolution Project, Southerners on New Ground, Georgia Equality, THRIVE SS, Morehouse College, The Health Initiative and more. Following the breakfast, the crowd assembled to join the annual MLK March & Rally.
